Amber York is TruStar’s Vice President of Talent Strategy. In this role Amber leads TruStar’s sales, marketing and talent strategy initiatives. Amber works directly with C-level and senior leaders to assess their Recruitment and Talent Acquisition needs, while partnering with our team of professionals to build a talent acquisition solution that integrates seamlessly into the client’s organization.
Amber has more than 15 years of talent acquisition, recruitment and staffing experience. During her career, Amber has consulted with hundreds of organizations and designed talent acquisition solutions from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups.
Prior to joining TruStar, Amber held a number of leadership roles in sales, solutions and strategy with ADP RPO (formerly The RightThing). In those positions, Amber provided talent consultation, performed gap analysis and created detailed process solutions for senior leaders in recruitment and talent acquisition. She helped to drive their organizations to streamline efficiencies, drive recruitment growth, ensure data accuracy, improve candidate and employee engagement, and align their talent strategy to overarching corporate goals and objectives. Previous to ADP, Amber had progressive operational roles with Kenexa (now IBM) and Spherion (now Randstad).
In addition, Amber has been a featured speaker and subject matter expert on talent acquisition and recruitment trends at numerous state and national conferences and forums. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her daughter where she enjoys spending time with friends and family and supporting her daughter in all her activities.
